Poems can be freeform, which is not a formal structure. Literature is divided into fiction and non- fiction. There are fictional characters which are not real but exist in the mind of the writer.

In addition to specific forms of poems, poetry is often thought of in different ways. A poetic genre is a classification of poetry based on the subject matter, style, or other literary characteristics. Poetic form is less structured in post-modernist poetry than in previous literary eras.

We can divide various types of literature, music, movies, and other art forms into groups. There are many different genres of literature, from fantasy to nonfiction.

The Literary Genre

The four main literary genres are poetry, fiction, nonfiction, and drama, with each having their own style, structure, and use of language. The reader expects certain things in the work of the genre.

The background and actions of the characters will change as the stories are different. The plot is the same as the setting is dependent on the story. The comedy genre is complicated because of how outrageous and impossible the characters and story are in the movie.

The setting can be set in any time or place, and the plot is general. There are many different characteristics of screwball comedy. The Great Depression was the time when screwball comedy was most popular, and it contains class conflict between the middle and lower classes.
