English Literature GCSE
Literature is very difficult to get an A in and language is very easy to get an A in. You do better in Language than Literature from your exams. The English language exam focuses on developing students' reading, writing, speaking and listening skills.
The English literature GCSE is more focused on developing knowledge and understanding of prose, poetry and drama texts. English Literature is a level that is respected. Students of Literature can go on to study for University degrees in a range of subjects, including History, Sociology, Psychology, Dramand Theatre Studies and Law.
Medical Schools value the subject very much. English literature is more concerned with the content of the text than the prose and poetry. English language is more scientific in nature and looks at language in segments.
English has been divided into two separate exams; English Language and English Literature. There is no longer a course that combines the two. The new maths GCSE will not have tiering, and all students will sit the same exam.
The tiering system of qualifications in the public sector
In Wales, the only accredited awarding body for the qualifications in the public sector is the WJEC. Some qualifications from the English boards are available as designated qualifications in certain circumstances, due to not being available from the WJEC. A subset of grades can be reached in a specific tier's paper with the tiering of qualifications.
The number of subjects that were tiered was reduced dramatically with the mid-2010s reform. Any grade can be achieved with untiered papers. There are always untiered coursework and controlled assessment tasks.
The tiering system still exists despite fewer qualifications having tiered exams. The grades 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 are available at the foundation tier, while the grades 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9 are targeted at the higher tier. If a higher tier student misses the grade 4 mark by a small margin, they are awarded a grade 3.
Assessments and tasks are nottiered. The time needed to set aside for coursework sessions is seen as a burden on the school timetable, as the balance between controlled assessment and examinations is contentious. The use of controlled assessment can help students perform well on the day of the examination, and allow for the marking of work outside of examination season.
The examination board must approve any of the above. The most common forms of help are the ones that the examination board agrees to. The qualifications in England, Wales, and Northern Ireland are regulated.

It is important to note that you will not be expected to have an equal amount of each AO in your essay, however evidence of each must be present to avoid losing marks. Why not tell a story in your introduction? If you can think of a relevant point to back up your argument, it will show your understanding of the text.
On the length of tracks
It might be true, except for the fact that one of those lines is shorter and platforms are usually of equal length. Some stations have only one track, while others have more than one.
